Wedding rings are made out of metals and this will be the major factor to determine the cost of your wedding ring. Other factors which can impact the cost of a men’s wedding ring are; where it is bought (shop front or online), customization and quality.
Metals:
- Gold – gold is a precious metal, and will cost between $800 and $1200. for a simple wedding band.
- Tungsten – this is a strong metal, extremely scratch resistance and the same weight as gold. Expect to pay between $200 and $500 for this.
- Titanium – This is stronger than Gold, not quite as scratch resistance as Tungsten, and very light weight. Expect to pay between $150 and $400
- Platinum – a very strong metal, however ++ expensive expect to pay $1200+.
Online or Instore?

Customization:
If you want to customize your ring this can increase the price of the ring. Resizing and engraving can add to the cost.
