Softer metals (such as silver, gold and platinum) can be resized by a jeweller, whilst harder metals, like Tungsten and Titanium are simply too tough to be resized (don’t worry, we offer a great solution to this).
Resizing a silver, gold or platinum ring will require additional expensive metal, as well as the labour and overheads cost of the jeweller performing the resize. You should expect to pay around $200-300 for a resize, depending on the metal and the craftsman.
Fun fact: the join where the jeweller has added more metal may become visible when you spend a lot of time in a pool or spa. This discolouration can be removed with a microfibre cloth and some elbow grease.
For customers of our Tungsten and Titanium rings, we offer an exchange service: You just have to return your ring and pay $20 shipping and handling and we will then send you a replacement ring in your new size even if it has been years since you ordered with us.Return to FAQ
